All publicity is good publicity: Perez Hilton is being sued by various photo agencies, according to the NY Daily News. Hilton's been using photos, most recently Britney Spears and her girlie-bits, from Splash, INF, Ramey, Bauer-Griffin, WENN, Most Wanted and Flynet, without payment or credit.

But calling his site--"Hollywood's Most-Hated Web Site"--boy howdy! He must be thrilled.

Is Fair Use doctrine going to protect the gossipista? He does alter the shots, and some elastic interpretations cover that use. Perez needs to call Lawrence Lessig.
