On October 11th at 8pm, members of The Antaeus Theatre Company, under the direction of Arye Gross, will present "Love Junkie, A Performance Piece" at Frank Pictures Gallery against the backdrop of provocative photographs and paintings by Emma Ferreira. The evening will feature a dramatic re-telling of scenes from Resnick's new groundbreaking book about sexual addiction and recovery, followed by a Q&A with Rachel Resnick. The event is hosted by author Rachel Resnick and Laurie Frank, and Emma Ferreira's provocative collection, "Exposed", which explores issues of intimacy, will also be on display. The event is from 6:30-9:30pm, with the live performance beginning at 8pm.

Along with Rachel Resnick, author of Love Junkie, media pro, and Yale graduate, the event will feature Director Arye Gross, members of the Antaeus Theatre Company, and guests spanning the worlds of psychology (Judith Orloff, author of Emotional Freedom), literature (Janet Fitch, author of White Oleander), entertainment (actress Victoria Tennant and director Allison Anders), and arts (Emma Ferreira, artist behind "Exposed", current provocative show at Frank Pictures Gallery).

Sex addiction is one of the hottest topics making headlines today, and Rachel Resnick, author of Love Junkie, is creating a massive stir nationwide. The bare-all book courageously blows the lid off this hot-button topic in the form of a powerfully written memoir about Resnick's own dangerous addiction to love and sex.

The paperback edition of her book debuts October 5th. Love Junkie has won praise from Vanity Fair, The NY Post, Cosmopolitan, The NY Observer, and The Guardian.
