ABC News LA Adds Investigative Star

Anyone in Los Angeles who is currently involved in profligate spending may want to take note. Emmy nominated reporter Abbie Boudreau (pictured), who comes over from CNN to start next Monday, November 15th at the ABC News LA bureau, has a knack for exposing that sort of behavior.

In 2009 for example, the United States Postal Service had to rescind a policy of buying million-dollar relocation homes for employees after a Boudreau report. In another case, she exposed how millions of dollars in supplies intended for Hurricane Katrina victims were going instead to prisons and other government agencies.

Boudreau will work alongside David Wright and Mike Von Fremd. Before joining CNN in 2007, she won multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards for her investigative work with ABC Phoenix affiliate KNXV-TV.

Boudreau has a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Other CNN documentary credits include Killings at the Canal: The Army Tapes, Biden: Revealed and Campus Rage.
