Amanda Congdon On Virginia Tech, New Media

ABC News.com , cranky about NBC’s popularity, stifles any lingering sense of journalistic integrity, and offers up Amanda “Rocketbazooms” Congdon on the Virginia Tech shootings and how New Media rose to the occasion, all in a pseudo-serious tone. So meta.
She (or someone) also rifled around her bookmarks to find Loren Coleman and his research on the copycat effect. All that va-voom and research skills, too!
Jeff Jarvis, meanwhile, has a suggestion for the future:
put a webcam in every classroom for security. At elementary and high schools, at least, every class in my town’s schools has at least one PC.
And then everyone, everywhere can watch tragedy unfold.
