While the nation and Hollywood seem tilted toward Barack Obama
and the left, America Online has surfaced as not only a Republican stronghold, but as a repository of major league attitude, presidential or otherwise.
In a straw poll that AOL conducted on Aug. 18, John McCain
appears to hold a commanding lead over the young Illinois senator, 67% to Obama’s 33% — even while the rest of the country and virtually every other poll has either Obama in the lead or the pair in a dead heat.
FBLA can’t vouch for AOL’s methods or polling procedure (nor would we ever try to influence voters in one direction or another), but it is astounding — and even a bit scary — to see an entire nation blanketed in red ink. And we don’t mean money. We mean states.
