Drescher , As In ‘The Nanny’ Drescher, Wants The U.S. Senate
If she has her way, Fran Drescher will become the nanny for the U.S. Senate, filling in for Hillary Clinton when she becomes Secretary of State for President Barack Obama, New York Magazine says.
She was either eloquent or drunk at a recent New York party when she said: “My title is public diplomacy envoy for women’s health issues, and I just got back from a four-country European tour of duty. I believe next I’ll be sent to the Middle East.”
Drescher has considered her run before but has never quite made the leap. But now that Obama has jumped to a higher office, maybe what the Senate needs is a strict Nanny.
