Former MTV VJ Damien Fahey is joining the on-air staff at KBIG-FM (104.3 MYfm) as host of the midday slot, starting Thursday, Jan. 5.

While at MTV, Fahey was the host of Total Request Live and has served as a fill in for Regis Philbin on LIVE! With Regis and Kelly. He started his professional carer in the radio industry, working as a part time overnight DJ at KISS 108 FM in Boston.

“Damien is perfect for our audience. He was instrumental in the formative years of their music discovery at MTV. He possesses a wealth of musical knowledge and has great relationships with numerous artists,” said Andrew Jeffries, program director for MYfm.
