Actually, it’s technically going to be a web series. But for anyone who accidentally, in the near future, clicks into Can’t Get Arrested, a triple take may be in order.
That’s because the new web series stars Dave Coulier, his former Full House sitcom co-star Jodie Sweetin, Saved by the Bell‘s Dennis Haskins and Kato Kaelin. The artist forever known as Joey Gladstone tells TheWrap’s Kimberly Potts exclusively that he and Sweetin will be playing loose versions of themselves:
“Jodie and I … we’re sitting at dinner and the paparazzi takes a picture of us, and they purposely Photoshop a nip slip onto her, and it hits the press,” said Coulier, describing the series’ premise. “So she’s outraged, but I think it’s a real opportunity.”
Coulier will also be playing his character’s 75-year-old personal manager Irv Steenstein, courtesy of some “technical video effects.” Given the nipple slip launch-premise, FishbowlLA thinks Episode #1 should be titled “Full Blouse.”*
*Update – 10/19/11: The creators of the show have confirmed via Twitter that this will indeed be the title of Episode #1.
Update – 10/20/11: There is now a tease on YouTube of Coulier as manager Steenstein. Very convincing.
