The most palpable moment of excitement in the Oscars press room last Sunday occurred when The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was announced on the telecast as winner for Best Editing. Then there’s this bit of Larsson love, tweeted out yesterday by LA Times entertainment reporter Amy Kaufman:

Kaufman explained she went with the Lisbeth Salander look for a Friday costume party after trying out a Marilyn Monroe wig and, presumably, several other accoutrements.

Kaufman got some exclamatory approval for her hacker get-up from zap2it.com staff editor Carina Adley MacKenzie, formerly with the LA Times. FishbowlLA seconds that notion as Kaufman definitely seems to have channeled the Salander vibe.
