A new survey from USC Annenberg School of Journalism’s Center for the Digital Future reveals that only 56 percent of Internet users considered newspapers a valuable source of information. That number is down four percent since 2008. Asked what they would do if their home newspaper folded and went online, only 59 percent of respondents said they would read the paper in that format…for free. Yikes.
Meanwhile, 68 percent of Internet users considered television an “important source of information.” In a related statistic, FBLA has just discovered that 68 percent of Internet users are idiots, who deserve to have their taxes squandered and their children under-educated.
