Kudos To Kanye
Awards ceremonies are dull, dull, dull. There’s a reason organizers are always looking for seat-fillers. So kudos to Kanye West for adding some highly entertaining improv and controversy to the MTV Music Video Awards last night by interrupting Taylor Swift‘s acceptance speech. Rude? Inappropriate? Sure. But this is the network that brought us ‘A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila‘, ‘My Super Sweet 16′, and ‘Punk’d’. Rude and inappropriate is a big part of the business plan. If MTV had thought there was a buck to be made by doing it, they would have asked Kanye to interrupt the ceremony years ago.
