LA Times Loses Another Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist
We hear from LA Observed that Abigail Goldman volunteered for a buy-out after 15 years at the paper. She was part of a four-reporter team that won a Pulitzer in the national reporting category for the series, “The Wal-Mart Effect.”
Goldman leaves in advance of the next round of newsroom layoffs, which will mean the elimination of approximately 70 jobs. The LA Times is expected to give layoff notices tomorrow.
