LAT To Sponsor the 2007 LA Fashion Awards

We have style in SoCal. We do too. To prove it, the Los Angeles Times new IMAGE section will sponsor the 2007 L.A. Fashion Awards at the Orpheum Theatre on Oct. 26.

The press release about the event boasts all the key buzz words of the the month: “experiential,” “integrated reach,” and “naming rights opportunities.”

We don’t know if the IMAGE section is going to succeed in cementing L.A. as a fashion hot spot, but we’re positive its marketing department knows a PR trend when it spots one.

LOS ANGELES (June 26, 2007)–Fashion is among the defining passions of an image conscious Southern California. In celebration of the recent launch of the Los Angeles Times IMAGE section (www.latimes.com/image) devoted to covering all manner of personal style and expression, it was announced today that The Times has become an Official Media Sponsor of the third annual Los Angeles Fashion Awards.
