Layoffs At The LA Times Magazine
The LA Times Magazine has laid off its senior editor Jod Kaftan, as well as assistant editor, Allison Kornberg.
“The well-paid editorial job in LA I suppose has gone the way of the dodo,” Kaftan tells FBLA. He says he’ll now have the time to “continue working on my Sisyphean memoir of growing up latchkey in LA.”
These layoffs are the first major changes at the mag since former editor-in-chief Annie Gilbar was let go last October.
