My Tube, Not Yours

While it’s all kittens and cocktails for YouTube founder Chad Hurley in Sun Valley, he’s being sued in LA. Turns out someone actually owns the Reginald Denny beating video–Bob Tur. Helicopter pilot/newshound Tur owns quite a bit of iconic footage–including the OJ slow speed chase, and has won in court before. The Hollywood Reporter has the story and says that YouTube could not be reached for comment. Well, yeah! Hanging around Bob Iger and Barry Diller really takes it out of a guy.

It’s not known if Tur stumbled upon the clip while searching for the trailer to Scary Movie 4.
