Newsroom Dog Sensed Earthquake

Lab-mix Sophie was hanging out in the newsroom of the Times-Standard in Eureka, CA when she sensed the 6.5 magnitude earthquake – seconds before her two-legged office companions felt a thing.

Sophie bolted first in the direction of her owner, Jessica Richelderfer, not the exit. She then proceeded to escort Jessica out of the building. Good dog!
