No Right To Privacy For Tila Tequila, Sluts
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has rejected Tila Tequila‘s request for an injunction against the release of a sex tape, reports TMZ. Tila has said the tape was made 7 years ago with her then-boyfriend, who recently threatened to make it public if she didn’t fork over $75,000.
Tila’s lawyer, Alan Gutman, argued that the tape is “an invasion of privacy and a misappropriation of her image.” But the judge disagreed, because “Tila exploits her sexuality.” That’s right, slutty girls don’t have the same rights as the rest of us. Crikey, why don’t we just pin a scarlet letter to her chest?
Tila may be one of the most annoying people alive, but that’s hardly the point. Denying a woman her right to privacy based on her sexuality sets a dangerous legal precedent for all women.
