Paulina Gretzky, Part Two
A familiar pattern has been repeated this holiday season: Wayne Gretzky‘s daughter Paulina tweeted out a photo that got some attention (since deleted), and the Toronto Star reported about it. According to the paper, the picture was an outtake from a recent Christmas card photo session snapped by LA photographer Ryan Phillips:
The Star spoke with Phillips, who dismisses both the notion that the Gretzky’s are like the Kardashian’s or that Paulina is an LA party girl:
“I think people like the hype,” says Phillips, “but she’s really down to earth, totally normal. She loves her family and hangs out with them all the time. The picture they [the media] portray is pretty skewed.”
Phillips adds that the type of Christmas card he co-created with Janet Gretzky is standard holiday operating procedure in LA. “They all do shoots like this,” he says of his clientele.
