Publisher Leaves Los Angeles Daily News For San Diego Union-Tribune

The San Diego Union-Tribune announced today that Ed Moss has been hired as the newspaper’s president and publisher. Moss resigned as president and CEO of Los Angeles Newspaper Group and publisher of the Daily News to take the job with the Union-Tribune. We wish him luck with his severely depleted staff.

Fred Hamilton will be replacing Moss as president of LANG, and Liz Gaier has been named interim publisher of the Los Angeles Daily News.
