Robert Ludlum Ent. Takes Over Its Own Production Series With A Hollywood Insider
Robert Ludlum Entertainment got a little more Hollywood nabbing ICM agent Ben Smith to run the lucrative franchise that is set to exploit more than 25 additional Ludlum titles following the fourth entry into the Bourne series, according to Variety.
Smith, who handled the agent for the Ludlum estate, will be a necessary ingredient for the Ludlum team as it has been run by Jeffrey Weiner, Ludlum’s Long Island-based longtime accountant.
Weiner had been Ludlum’s accountant for 16 years before the author died and made him gatekeeper to the estate and the CEO of a holding company that manages movie productions, books and videogames from Ludlum titles.
