Never mind that Roger Friedman had a hundred guests to worry about. Never mind that legendary Soul Man Sam Moore (whose fantastic new album Friedman assistant executive produced) was waiting in the car downstairs, the Fox liberal was furiously writing up an exclusive story he had gotten just that second about how Disney is almost assuredly ditching Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto to sloppy-seconds-happy Lions Gate.
“I pressed ‘Send’, and then left,” Friedman said last night at eat on Sunset, where he helped host Moore’s listening party (more on Moore later). “That doesn’t happen nearly enough.”
