Last month on the FOX Business Network, Follow the Money host Eric Bolling and guest Dan Gainor blasted the Muppets for using “class warfare” to “brainwash our kids” with an “anti-corporate message.” “They hate the oil industry,” said Gainor, referring both to the Muppets and Hollywood as a whole.
A few days ago, while on a UK press tour for The Muppets, Kermit and Miss Piggy responded to the allegations. “If we had a problem with oil companies,” said Kermit, “why would we have spent the entire film driving around in a gas-guzzling Rolls Royce?”
Added Miss Piggy, “It’s almost as laughable as accusing FOX News of being news.”

The above tweet from Bill Maher about the Broncos’ loss to the Buffalo Bills has some Christians spitting mad – particularly those on FOX. Follow the Money host Eric Bolling tweeted that Maher was “vile trash,” and on Monday joined his co-hosts of The Five in slamming the comedian.
A boycott of HBO by Christian conservatives angry at Maher has since been widely reported by the media – though the only evidence of a boycott we can find are a few dozen tweets by people who likely don’t watch the network anyway.
Maher, a vocal critic of religion, is probably enjoying all the free press. Season 10 of Real Time With Bill Maher premieres January 13.
