Isn’t recent winner of the SPJ’s Journalist of the Year, Andrew Blankstein working enough? Does he really need to be vlogging from the newsroom too?

The interesting thing about this video is it depicts a real journalist, a staff writer at a major metro and how they incorporate new technologies as new tools instead of crawling into a ball and crying softly at being obsolete. Point is: even with tons on witnesses on the scene with their own platform, we still need professionals to sort through the sludge and tell what happened.
