Updating the Disney Dump

pirates_oren_depp1.JPGThe Hollywood Reporter expands on the shake-up at Disney. In an especially classy move by the once family-friendly Disney, Nina Jacobson got the news of her ousting while at the hospital–where her partner, Jen Bleakley, had just delivered baby number three.

Her replacement, Oren Aviv (pictured, ye landlubbers) is said to “understand the big movie”. And Pirates of the Caribbean, at $266,277,457 domestic, is a small movie?

Condolences to Ms. Jacobson, and congrats on the new baby. One more high-powered woman leaving the work-place to spend more time with the family?
