Veteran TV Reporter Richard Threlkeld Dies in Car Crash

Veteran CBS correspondent Richard Threlkeld died over the weekend in East Hampton, New York after his Mini Cooper collided with a propane tanker. Threlkeld spent time in CBS’ LA and San Francisco bureaus and covered the RFK assassination as well as the kidnapping of Patty Hearst. He was 74.
