Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Husband Takes Media Cake, Again

For years now, everyone from Jay Leno to TMZ has made fun of willing target Prince Frederick Prinz von Anhalt, the ninth husband of currently bed-ridden 94-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor. But much of the time, the Prince does it all by himself.

He apparently was misinformed by his Beverly Hills household staff that the cake for a 25th wedding anniversary party held yesterday was coming from Spago’s. That prompted an LA Times denial (!) from restaurant co-founder and former Wolfgang Puck spouse Barbara Lazaroff:

“Spago is neither providing a cake or any cuisine for this event whatsoever,” Lazaroff said. “I fully support Zsa Zsa’s daughter Francesca Hilton in her quest to have visitation rights to see her mother and to receive independent evaluation of Zsa Zsa’s mental and physical health.”

Leave it to the Prince to spark the need for a stop-the-cake-presses pronouncement. FishbowlLA keeps thinking this guy’s antics are the final icing, but then he tops himself. Hilton from her end also issued an angry Friday press release denouncing the weekend anniversary party.
