Topless Ashley Judd Censored By Hudson News

Marie Claire: The latest magazine to fall victim to Hudson News’ breastgate

Not again.

Less than 48 hours after we noted that Hudson News, the notoriously conservative Grand Central newsstand, was displaying Marie Claire‘s December issue, featuring a topless Ashley Judd, bare on its racks, appears to have had a change of heart. The newsstand, which until last month had censored five consecutive FHM covers in its display window, has decided to cover up Judd.

FHM‘s December issue featuring lingerie-clad Jeri Ryan [below] is left uncovered.

Why the sudden cover-up?

“Moms were complaining,” said a Hudson News clerk.

Ironic, considering ex-ABC anchor Elizabeth Vargas is reportedly incensed about a photo illustration of her breastfeeding inside the Judd issue.

Calls to Hudson News have yet to be returned.
