California Health News Site Debuts From Ex Sac-Bee Columnist

Ex Sacramento Bee columnist and blogger Daniel Weintraub has launched a nonprofit website covering California health policy, land use, community development, violence and more. reports LA Observed.

The site has initial funding from the California Endowment and is off to a good start. Weintraub is also contributing freelance to the Bee and the Bay Area edition of the New York Times, which may help with cash flow for a while.
