The Daily Meal, which launched in October, is already out of beta.

The food site launched by Spanfeller Media Group and headed up by editorial director Colman Andrews didn’t spend much time with training wheels on, at least as far as Web properties go. Gmail, after all, remained in beta for five years.

The Daily Meal is Spanfeller’s first new site, but more are coming: anything but business, finance, sports, entertainment or tech is on the table.
