Don’t Call Yourself A People Person

On that big interview? Don’t say you’re a people person, says HR Bartender Sharlyn Lauby.
She says if you claim to be a people person who gets along with everyone, you’re lying. “We all have to interact with people that might not be on our BFF list. It’s a part of business and there’s nothing wrong with it. The important part is how people handle the situation.”
Instead, be honest about how you handle uncomfortable situations and uncomfortable people. As long as your answer isn’t “go postal” you’re probably going to be fine.
