Editor & Publisher has been sold to Duncan McIntosh Co. Inc. and will resume publication in print and online effective today.

Duncan McIntosh Co. Inc. is the publisher of several boating-related magazines, and now E&P.

“I’ve been a reader of E&P over the course of 30 years and know its incredible value to readers and advertisers,” said Duncan McIntosh.

Mark Fitzgerald, E&P’s editor at large, has been named the permanent new editor of the magazine.

The new owners plan to get right back to work with a February print issue and online reporting starting right now.

FishbowlNY reports that “some” employees, but not all, will be kept on board.
