First On MediaJobsDaily: Washington Business Journal’s Hiring Five Edit Staff

The Washington Business Journal has not one, not two, but five open positions.
Editor Doug Fruehling tells us that the newspaper is looking for a tech reporter, a federal contracting reporter, an economic development reporter, and two news editors. The openings are partly to replace people who have left the paper, but also because “we’re growing our staff,” says Fruehling.
Polish up your resume and college kids, don’t bother: “We are not looking for entry level positions. We’re looking for people with 2-5 years of experience.”
He added: “After what the media industry’s been through, we’re very excited to be growing and hoping we can get some good people who are out there now, looking.”
