If you’ve made healthy living your life’s focus, we have just the job for you. Cooking Light is looking for a nutrition editor to develop, edit, assign and review recipes for the magazine from its Birmingham, Ala. office.

If hired, you’ll review food stories for accurate nutrition information, and help set up editorial pieces that speak to the industry’s growing trends. You’ll attend daily taste-testings (where do we sign up?), attend occasional nutrition conferences and blog regularly for CookingLight.com.

The ideal candidate has an R.D. certification or post-graduate nutrition degree, plus experience writing or editing for magazines, newspapers or major websites. Experience with recipe development is a must, too. Those who are articulate and camera-ready will have a leg up on the competition, as the editor will be expected to rep the mag in the media.
