Google: Apparently Not Hiring After All

Google released the third of its alien-themed Doodles today. One can barely see the letters. Those aliens really were thorough.

When you click on the doodle, it takes you to a page for H.G. Wells. It is, after all, his birthday today. But we’re now retracting our earlier guess that it was part of a hiring push.

Happy 143rd, Mr. Wells.
