Indiana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah Add A Couple Thousand Jobs Each

Indiana, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah each added two to four thousand jobs to their economies in the month of September, though all fifty states are still showing negative employment growth for the full year, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today, and Nevada’s unemployment rate of 13.3 percent is actually a series high.
Rhode Island’s 13 percent unemployment rate also sets a series high for the state, and Michigan (15.3 percent) and California (12.2 percent) continue to suffer.
