Jason Fine To Edit Men’s Journal

Jason Fine, formerly music editor at Rolling Stone, is being promoted to editor of Men’s Journal, minonline reports.

Wenner Media editorial director Will Dana wrote in a memo obtained by min that Fine has “great news instincts, management touch and editorial passions….Jason will guide [MJ] to new levels of excellence and sophistication.”

He succeeds Brad Wieners, who was fired by Jann Wenner earlier this month.

Fine remains on the Rolling Stone masthead as editor-at-large because Dana “can’t quite conceive of editing RS without his input.”
