Job Openings At CQ Roll Call, But Don’t Apply

There are vacancies at CQ Roll Call, but you can’t have the jobs—at least not for another four weeks. That’s because the publication, and indeed the entire Economist Group, are in a hiring freeze until April 1, FishbowlDC reports.

“We’ve been asked by our bosses in London to hold off on filling vacancies for four weeks as they finalize budgets for the new fiscal year, which begins April 1. We expect to be making some offers right after that,” CQ Roll Call editorial director Mike Mills told FBDC.
