Layoffs At Time Inc. Have Started; More To Come

Last evening, Time Inc. let go about 15-20 sales and marketing employees from its news group, mainly Sports Illustrated, the New York Times reports.

The NYT’s tipster estimated that 400-500 jobs will be cut (making our estimate not that bad)..we’ll try to get more information for you after the meetings that are scheduled with staff today at 10 am.
