Long Island Business News Editor’s Off To Patch

The editor of Long Island Business News is leaving to head up Patch.com’s Long Island editorial operations, reports Talking Biz News.

David Reich-Hale joined LIBN in 2004 and led the newspaper in experimenting with web 2.0 forms of journalism: blogs (remember, that was revolutionary six years ago), podcasts, and video reporting.

As TBN’s Chris Roush says, Reich-Hale is the second editor of a weekly business paper to join Patch; Patch’s Connecticut operations are led by John Ferraro, previously editor of the Hartford Business Journal.
