Majority Of Americans Say NPR Was Wrong To Fire Juan Williams

Most Americans with an opinion on the issue say NPR was in the wrong when it terminated Juan Williams for remarks he made on The O’Reilly Factor, reports Poll Position (which sounds like a random website but was founded by former CNN news exec Eason Jordan).

A full 46 percent of the 1,011 Americans nationwide said that NPR was in the wrong when it let Williams go. Only 19 percent said the radio network was right, and the rest had no opinion.

Williams is now working for Fox drawing a $2 million salary doing pretty much what he was doing at NPR.
