McKinsey’s Cost-Cutting Measure Of The Week
Consulting company McKinsey & Co, which is currently “realigning” Condé Nast, has come up with another cost-cutting measure that (this time) doesn’t cut any jobs.
The coffee stirrers have gone, reports the New York Post.
“I was hunting around for one and our supply manager told me they were no more,” a New Yorker staffer told the Post. “I guess we now have to shake our coffee to get the milk to mix in.”
It’s unclear how much this saves the company, but it looks like these are like $2 for a pack of one thousand, so maybe we should take up a collection drive. We’ll happily donate the change we found on our car floor; that should be enough to keep Condé staffers stirred for a week at least.
