Got moustaches? Seriously.
As pointed out by The Wall Street Journal, Andrew O’Dell certainly does. The chief executive of Pereira & O’Dell advertising agency has been growing a ‘stache in the name of the Australian-born Movember.
The annual moustache-growing ambition first sprouted in 2004 and spread globally. It occurs every November in order to raise money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.
O’Dell explained to the Journal, “It’s not nearly as masculine as I wish it was.” Commenting on his light ‘stache, he indicated when clients visit for meetings “sometimes they recoil.”
Adam Garone, CEO and co-founder of the Movember Foundation based in L.A. explained 1.1 million “Mo Bros” signed up to participate and have raised approximately $95 million!
Additional executives are outlined in the piece but we thought it was too amusing to not include. And hey, who doesn’t appreciate the fact it raises money for a very good cause?
