You read that right: not a thirteen-year-old startup, but a thirteen-year-old's startup, as in, a startup belonging to a thirteen-year-old kid.

Scott Campbell and his friend Nathan Adam in Scotland are running NetNewsDaily.com, an aggregator for "people with little or no time," Campbell told The Guardian.

The entrepreneurs make about £150 each month from advertising.

"I've been writing and blogging online for the past two years, and I am keen to have a career in the media, which is the reason that I started Net News Daily," he told The Guardian, and hopes to triple his unique visitors in 12 months from 1,000-5,000 visitors a day. Not bad for a 13-year-old.

Of course, being a teenage entrepreneur has its own set of problems: when asked about his work-life balance, Campbell replied: "I try to make sure that all of my homework is done before progressing on to anything to do with Net News Daily."
