Welcoming New Names To The Mediabistro Family, And More

Who says there are no media jobs left? Perry Krasnove and Randi Schmelzer are now contributing to mediabistro.com’s PRNewser, along with the mainstays Tonya Garcia, Joe Ciarallo, Jason Chupick and Karen Schwartz.

Perry once worked with MSNBC on the editorial side and now has made the jump to PR, and Randi previously covered PR as PRWeek’s LA bureau chief…she’ll still be reporting from the land of wildfires and mudslides but mostly sunny beaches and Korean tacos. Note: we are slightly jealous of every inhabitant of LA right now as this is what we see out our window right now:

In non-depressing news, the new editor of Bon Appetit has made a number of hires. Adam Rapoport announced, according to FishbowlNY, eight new hires! They are: Alex Grossman, Design Director, Alex Pollack, Photo Editor, Hunter Lewis, Food Editor, Scott DeSimon, Special Projects Editor, Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamilton, seasonal columnists, and finally, Jenny Rosenstrach and Andy Ward, who will write columns on family cooking.
