What Is Going On At The Daily?

Yet another reporter is leaving Rupert Murdoch’s The Daily, just two months after the iPad newspaper’s launch, reports WWD.

The latest departure, culture reporter Molly Young, told WWD that working at The Daily was “the best time I ever had at a job, and also probably the best time I ever had in Midtown,” yet her next steps are….freelancing for New York magazine. Without a contract lined up.

Even this amateur gumshoe thinks something smells funny about that.

Young is also the third staffer out of culture editor Sasha Frere-Jones‘ original four hires to leave within the month.
