200 ‘Livestrong’ Wristbands For WNT

“As a sign of support for anchor Peter Jennings, who has lung cancer, World News Tonight executive producer Jon Banner yesterday distributed yellow ‘Livestrong’ wristbands to the WNT staff in New York,” Gail Shister reports. “A total of 200 wristbands were ordered for WNT producers, editors and correspondents in New York and Washington. (ABC News president David Westin put his on immediately yesterday, an ABC rep says.) Good Morning America coanchor Charlie Gibson, a Jennings sub, wore his wristband on WNT last night.”
