“60 Minutes” Helps Al Pacino Prepare for Role as Dr. Death
While the real Dr. Death was on CNN earlier this week, the Academy Award winning actor playing him says a “60 Minutes” report helped him nail the character.
Al Pacino plays Dr. Jack Kevorkian in the upcoming film “You Don’t Know Jack.”
On tomorrow’s “60 Minutes” Pacino tells Katie Couric part of his preparation for playing Kevorkian came from watching Mike Wallace‘s famous 1998 interview with “Dr. Death” during which he facilitated an assisted suicide.
Below is an excerpt from that interview. And after the jump, a clip from tomorrow’s Couric/Pacino chat.
