A Fox News Producer Becomes a Father, and Andy Rooney a Great-Grandfather

Congratulations are in order for Fox News Pentagon producer Justin Fishel and his wife Gayle. Gayle gave birth to twins, Andrew Kirby Fishel and Liza Cassidy Fishel, a couple weeks ago making Justin’s grandfather, “60 Minutes” commentator Andy Rooney a great-grandfather.

Gayle and Justin met at Fox News Channel in 2001 while working on the assignment desk together. She has since moved to Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide where she is an Account Director in the consumer marketing sector. Justin has been working as the Fox News Pentagon Producer for the last two years.

And twins run in Justin’s family. His mother Martha and Aunt Emily are identical twins. Emily Rooney is a former ABC News producer who now hosts a show on WGBH in Boston. Justin’s uncle Brian Rooney is a correspondent for ABC News.
