A Political Morning: Obama on ‘Today,’ Republican Leaders on ‘The Early Show’
It was a very political morning on the network morning shows today. NBC’s “Today” had Ann Curry interviewing President Obama, while CBS’ “The Early Show” held a town hall panel on the economy featuring Republican lawmakers. On ABC, Rep. and newly-minted Presidential contender Michele Bachmann appeared on “Good Morning America.”
Obama commented publicly for the first time on the Anthony Weiner scandal, saying that he would resign if he were in Weiner’s situation:
