Aaron Brown, Anderson Cooper Co-Hosting Two-Hour Edition Of NewsNight

A tipster says: “Beginning tonight, Aaron Brown and Anderson Cooper will anchor a two-hour edition of NewsNight. It will lose the NewsNight title and be called ‘State of Emergency,’ the brand CNN is running all day long.”

The tipster continues: “This will be for duration of Hurricane coverage but is likely to become permanent. Cooper keeps his 7 p.m. broadcast.”

> Update: Thursday night’s show was still called NewsNight most of the time, though the State of Emergency graphics were used heavily. (SoE even became the logo on the bottom right for a little while.)
